Jānis Podiņš, JĀNIS PODIŅŠ the maestro of the coffee world, emerged as the crowned champion of the London Coffee Festival in 2023. Currently working as Head of Coffee shops and quality at Kalve Coffee Roasters, back in his home town Riga, Latvia, Jānis has made a mark with his unwavering dedication and innovative approach to the craft.

Janis's journey to becoming the winner of the London Coffee Masters competition in 2023 was marked by years of dedicated experimentation and innovation. After completing a degree in Coffee Science and Technology, Jānis ventured into the heart of the coffee industry, collaborating with farmers, roasters, and baristas worldwide.
