From a student part time barista to head barista, from home brewer to head roaster. I'm grateful for the opportunities along the way.

What motivates you to participate in the Coffee Masters competition?
CM is like a workplace progress check, reviewing what's your strengths and weaknesses and your stress tolerance. So it's not a career/ability check, but also a life checkpoint.

Are there any specific disciplines in the competition that you're particularly excited about?
Making our own blend. This takes a lot to be good. We have to recognize the coffee on the table and pick the attributes I need. Execution and presentation is another high.
