What do you believe sets you apart from other baristas?
If I get accepted for coffee masters I will not just be representing myself but the Scottish coffee community as a whole. I will do my best to show up for the community I love and utilise everything they have taught me over the years.
Describe your favourite coffee creation or technique
The latte art dry foam technique is my favourite as it unlocks a whole world of latte art that is still ever evolving. Going from simple shapes of hearts and rosetta's to being able to create whatever your imagination can come up with allows you as a barista to personally connect with customers on another level. I love trying to make bespoke latte art to make my customers laugh or smile.
How do you share your passion for coffee with others, whether within the industry or the wider community?
I love sharing my passion by hosting events like cuppings and classes to help customers, friends and other baristas to expand their coffee knowledge in a genuine and welcoming environment.
