What do you believe sets you apart from other baristas?
My passion. Everyone that knows me will tell you how passionate I am about my craft… not just the quality of the beverage but equally the experience of the customer. Care and intention are words I live by, for both beverage and my community.

What's your favourite coffee filter recipe, and why?
My go to recipe is 22g of coffee ground to a medium-fine coarseness, with a yield of 311g brewed at 204 degrees. This recipe holds a bit of nostalgia for me as its the first recipe I was taught upon entering the industry.

How do you share your passion for coffee with others, whether within the industry or the wider community?
For me, coffee has become a lifestyle. People will run into me in my community and stop me saying, “Hey you're that coffee girl!” I regularly immerse myself in my community to converse about coffee and love doing so. I am the pioneer in my community for specialty coffee so I don't have a large industry community here, but often connect with those in the greater area to keep knowledge and inspiration alive.
