After a succesful first year The Coffee Art Project (launching in London and Milan) announces it's return.
As I'm sure you remmeber, The Coffee Art Project is an exciting art competition linked to the theme of coffee and is one of the core fundraising initiatives of UK Coffee Week™ 2014.
Showcasing the creativity and talents of emerging and established artists, while engaging a deep spirit of community among those who share a passion for great coffee! Both up-and-coming and established artists are invited to submit an original piece of artwork that represents a creative, unique and personal connection to the concept of 'coffee' or a 'coffee shop experience'.
Artists specialising in all media types can submit any form of art, including: paintings, drawings, photography, film, design, sculpture and conceptual art.
This unique project gives artists the opportunity to be part of a growing creative community with a passion for coffee whilst raising money for our chosen charity: Project Waterfall.
More than 85 artists submitted works for The Coffee Art Project in 2013 won by Claudia O'Sullivan with Untitled’ watercolour ink and pencil illustration on Khadi paper (pictured left).
The winning artist will win a cash prize of £ 1,500. Five other shortlisted runners-up will receive £250 and visitors of The London Coffee Festival 2014 will be able to vote for their favourite piece too!
