11 April: The Coffee Art Project: Your Favourite!

The votes have been counted and verified and here it is...your favourite piece from The Coffee Art Project at The London Coffee Festival!

More than 1500 of you voted for “Coffee Ballerina” by Paul Parkin (pictured left).

In his own words Paul describes the artwork:

"‘Coffee Ballerina’ was originally intended to be created with watercolours but an accident with a spilt espresso whilst working gave me a whole new idea for the piece. Catching the running coffee droplets with my paintbrush, I realised the versatility of coffee as a medium. ‘Coffee Ballerina’ was the start of my coffee collection, with friends now dubbing me an 'expressionist'."
